Chandra
22-year-old R&B, neo-soul singer Chandra understands life through music. Originally from the Chicago suburbs, she is now based in New York City. Heavily influenced by musical pioneers such as Erykah Badu and Asha Puthli, Chandra’s melodies are innovative yet comforting, moving in unexpected directions that land listeners in a warm, rooted, and lush soundworld.
In 2024, Chandra shined with her live performances, notably opening for J.I.D and AG Club at Columbia University's largest music festival after winning the school’s annual Battle of the Bands. Clips of her live performances subsequently amassed a passionate online following eagerly awaiting Chandra’s upcoming releases. In early 2025, Chandra released her first two singles, "The Sun" and "Liquid in My Feet" which landed her features in Fashionably Early, Distorted Magazine, Stereofox, and more. Chandra's debut EP “As the Dust Settles” is slated for release in late August, exploring themes of trust and peace.
