Thin Lear, the eclectic project of NJ-based songwriter Matt Longo, evokes the haunting storytelling and glimmering production work of ‘70s-era studio obsessives. Produced by Matthew E. White (Bedouine, Natalie Prass), the A Beach of Nightly Glory EP (out June 7th via Metropolitan Groove Merchants) paints a textured picture of life’s chaotic beauty. Thin Lear’s previous release, the debut album Wooden Cave, received glowing reviews from KEXP, NPR’s New Music Friday, Bandcamp’s New & Noteworthy, and PopMatters, who included it in their “Best Albums of the Year.”
